This is the itinerary for our 6-day, 70 mile canal trip from Oxford to Crick (near Rugby) on the Oxford Canal in May 2009.

I joined the boat on the Thames at Sandford, a couple of miles south of Oxford. Then we travelled along the old Oxford Canal through Banbury to Napton, and then on via the Grand Union canal to Crick in Northamptonshire.
