Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
The RSPCA may be able to help if you have a problem with the welfare of individual animals, including birds.

London Natural History Society
The LNHS has specialist groups studying different types of fauna and flora in and around London and they arrange evening meetings, outings and coach trips. The Ornithology section of their site includes a guide to birding locations in London and a checklist of birds of the London area.

British Trust for Ornithology
The BTO coordinates bird-ringing in the UK and would like details of any ringed bird you find.

BirdTrack
BirdTrack is an online bird recording scheme where you can keep a permanent log of your bird sightings for future reference, and at the same time your records will automatically contribute to the information available to the BTO for supporting conservation of species and sites at local, national and international levels.

London Wildlife Trust
The London Wildlife Trust runs many local nature reserves and is actively involved in local conservation iniatives.

Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust
The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust carries out research into the conservation of wildfowl and their habitats, actively conserves internationally rare wildfowl species and runs several nature reserves around the country, including the Wetland Centre in London.

Marylebone Birdwatching Society
The Marylebone Birdwatching Society runs a programme of outings and talks.
